Castletroy Town Centre is a modern neighbourhood shopping centre which is under new ownership and currently undergoing a complete renovation and refurbishment which will result in a modern spacious and pleasant Shopping experience. The Centre is anchored by Supervalu. Supervalu are the owner of their own store comprising of a total of 43,500sq ft, Supervalu are carrying out a full refit of their store next year. Our aim in the shopping centre is to provide a destination for the people of Castletroy and surrounding neighbourhoods. We will strive to provide a range of high standard shops that is expected of a town centre and create a pleasant and relaxing shopping experience.

Our current occupiers with excess of ten year term agreements include Meadows & Byrne, Tech Star, Talking Leaves Bookstore, Mr Duffy’s Candy Shop, Frocks N Frills Boutique, Lloyds Pharmacy, McGurk’s Golf, Hook & Ladder, Dargan Health Foods, Starbucks, Interior design and framing, An Post, Bliss Beauty, Hangers Dry Cleaners, Flanagan’s Barbers, Hugh Campbell’s Marbles, Underwater world, Secret Garden Flowers, VapourPal, Bella Italia, Yogurino, Nail Bliss, 4th Sense Clothing, Cherryblossom, The French table patisserie, The Dance Academy, Embody (fitness Studio)also within the Grounds are McDonalds, Prestige Car Care and The Odeon Cinema. New Store openings in March, Specsavers, Shields Dentist and Home and giftware, Rain Beauty.

Castletroy is the largest suburb neighbourhood in Munster with a population with over, 40,000 people including 4 primary schools and one Secondary school with a second due to be built next year. The University has approximately 18,000 students and staff attending. Our neighbours the Technology Park consist of over 80 companies including Troy studios Johnson & Johnson which employs 2,500 people, Avvio, Viagogo Cook Medical employs approx. 1000 staff, Ethicon, Northern Trust and Gilt other neighbouring businesses include The well-known Castletroy Golf Club, Travelodge, Kilmurray Lodge and the Carlton Castletroy Park Hotel . Within 5 minutes’ walk from the centre are many residential estates that house a majority of the UL students. The entire centre including Odeon and McDonalds attracts an average of 50,000 customers per week. Our current numbers in the Shopping Centre are in the region of 4700 per day this will increase as units are continuing to fill. Our aim is to increase these figures substantially in the coming months also increasing the average time spent by customer in the centre. Some of the facilities we will be installing in the centre are, An urban Garden an area to relax and unwind maybe have a coffee or Ice-cream . A kids Play area, A place that a parent can keep the kids entertained while the other parent does there shopping.
